Linux Foundation Announces Open Source Development Project Drone
Drone development is currently carried out by various parties. As a result, drones that there was a bona fide attractive design. Just look drone named Nixie or PlexiDrone that allows the owner to bring the drones to various places. And now, the Linux Foundation also mengumumpkan if they will participate in the project to develop the drone named Dronecode.
Linux Foundation Executive Director Jim Zemlin said that open source software and the cooperation of the various parties will provide significant technological advancements. And he hopes that Dronecode Project is one of them. Moreover, members of the Linux Foundation has the world renowned companies such as 3D Robotics, Baidu, Box, Intel, Qualcomm and others.

Project development of the Linux Foundation's drone is a project including PX4, APM software / ArduPilot UAV and related code. Even now there are as many as 1200 developers who are committed to participate in this project. In addition, there are around 150 code in some projects. Andrew Tridgell figure who previously worked APM / ArduPilot was going to be a Technical Steering Committee of the project.
